About Tidy Elf Cleaning
Hi, I’m Duncan, the founder of Tidy Elf Cleaning. My goal with Tidy Elf Cleaning is to be a helping hand that brings a smile to your face. You know that feeling you get when you’re washing dishes and someone says “Hey, I’ll dry for you”? Or you’re dreading a busy day and your partner says “Hey, I can grab the groceries on my way home to save you the trouble”. It’s a feeling of relief; that you’re not alone. Just a little help feels so good. I love giving that to our clients.
For about a decade, I worked in hospitality doing everything from housekeeping, bell service, front desk, bussing, serving and even working as a tour guide on a glacier. I worked for some of the top hotels in Alberta including Fairmont, Marriot, Pursuit and even led the Prince of Wales hotel in Waterton as the assistant general manager. I loved training my teams, investing in their growth and seeing guests smile when they had an authentically joyful experience with me and my team.
Now, I get to use that experience cleaning and training teams to design a great service so you can get onto more important things. Welcome to Tidy Elf Cleaning, where we make cleaning day magical.

No, you don’t need to have cleaners on hand. Please have a working vacuum and mop available.
Contrary to popular myth, we don’t just snap our fingers and clean your home with magic. At Tidy Elf Cleaning, we use safe, effective cleaners, along with some sweat and “elbow grease”.We supply window cleaner, general purpose cleaner, toilet bowl cleaner, dusters etc. This way, you not only save money on supplies but also time buying it and don’t even need to worry about washing rags.
If you have special cleaners, we are happy to use them.

We get it, it can be vulnerable to invite someone in and see the mess. But we’re here to clean, so don’t worry about the ketchup splatter on the wall. We’ll get that; it’s what we’re here for.
We do appreciate it when clients keep their houses uncluttered so we can thoroughly clean them. -
Each project is vastly different in scope.

Absolutely! We want you to be happy with your cleaning service and will gladly return within the same week to touch any whatever you need at NO CHARGE! We have never been called back yet, but if we do miss a spot, we are committed to ensuring you are happy.

You do not need to sign a contract to commit to a specific amount of time when you book recurring service. You can cancel anytime, but we’re pretty sure that once you get a taste of freedom, you’ll never want to. But we don’t lock you in with a contract. If something changes we are here for you and flexible.

Cleaning makes a great gift! Gift certificates can be purchased for either an hourly amount, or project completion. Give us a call to discuss what is right for you.

We can accept cash, cheque, e-transfer and PayPal payments. At this time, we do not accept card payments due to the high merchant fees.

Yes, we serve rural areas! We serve towns and rural areas in the Lacombe, Clive, Tees and Haynes areas. It wouldn’t be much fun if we only cleaned houses in towns, now would it?
